GD51-KYL rainfall transmitter IoT sensorDetailed information:
GD51-KYL rainfall transmitter IoT sensor
Scope of application:
A tipping bucket rain sensor is a hydrological and meteorological instrument used to measure natural rainfall and convert it into digital information output in the form of a switch to meet the needs of information transmission, processing, recording, and display. It can be used by meteorological stations, hydrological stations, agriculture and forestry, national defense, field monitoring stations and other relevant departments to measure precipitation, precipitation intensity, precipitation time, etc. in conjunction with our company's independently developed and produced rainfall recorders. It can provide raw data for flood control, water supply scheduling, and water management of power stations and reservoirs.
GD51-KYL rainfall transmitter IoT sensorFunction and Features:
High precision and good stability Small size, easy to install
Good linearity, long transmission distance, strong anti-interference ability
Design mesh holes at the funnel to prevent debris such as leaves from blocking the flow of rainfall
The support system of the tipping bucket component is well manufactured with low friction torque, making the tipping bucket component sensitive to flipping, stable in performance, and reliable in operation
The instrument casing is made of stainless steel, with strong rust prevention ability and excellent appearance quality
The rainwater inlet is made of stainless steel sheet by integral punching and pulling, with high smoothness and small error caused by stagnant water
There is a horizontal adjustment bubble inside the chassis, which can assist the bottom corner in adjusting the equipment to the most horizontal degree

GD51-KYL rainfall transmitter IoT sensorWorking principle:
The rainwater collected by the water inlet is poured into the measuring hopper through the upper tube (funnel) - the hopper is injection molded with engineering plastic and divided into two equal volume triangular chambers with a middle partition. It is a mechanical bistable structure, where when one chamber receives water, the other chamber is in a waiting state. When the received rainwater volume reaches the predetermined value of 0.4mm, due to gravity, it flips over and is in a waiting state, while the other chamber is in a receiving state. When its water intake reaches the predetermined value, it flips over on its own and is in a waiting state. Magnetic steel is installed on the side wall of the tipping bucket, which scans from the side of the dry reed switch when the tipping bucket flips, causing the dry reed switch to switch on and off. Every time the tipping bucket flips over, the dry reed switch is turned on once to send a switch signal.
